
Contributory Parent Visa - subclass 143
It is a permanent visa for parents of settled Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible New Zealand citizens. It allows parents to migrate permanently to Australia ,but unlike the Subclass 103, this visa comes with a much higher cost in exchange for significantly faster processing times.

Sponsorship

Must be sponsored by your child, who is:

An Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen

Settled in Australia (usually having lived there legally for at least 2 years)

A partner (spouse or de facto) of your child or other eligible relative may also act as a sponsor in some cases
Balance of Family Test

You must pass the Balance of Family Test, which means:

At least half your children live permanently in Australia; or
-
More children live in Australia than in any other single country
Health and Character

All applicants must meet health and character requirements

Police certificates and medical exams will be required
Assurance of Support (AoS)

Sponsor must provide an Assurance of Support, which is a financial bond (around AUD 10,000+ for the main applicant) and evidence they can support the applicant financially, to prevent reliance on welfare.
Cost:
The Subclass 143 is called a "contributory" visa because it involves a substantial financial contribution.

Stage 2 - Second Instalment( payment before grant)
